FAQ

My privacy and confidentiality?

Psychotherapists and Counsellors are bound by the Privacy Act to maintain confidentiality with clients UNLESS we believe you are going to harm yourself, someone else or abuse/harm a child. Discussion with the client always take place before any action is taken.

How long will I be in therapy?

Any time from a couple of sessions to a couple of years. This really depends on the issues involved. Some clients require fast change while others require deep psychotherapy. In your first session we’ll discuss your individual situation and needs.

How long are the appointments?

Appointments are a 50 minute hour - that is 50 minutes to do the work and 10 minutes to conclude the session which includes appointment times and payment.

What hours are available?

Currently I see clients on a Tuesday and a Thursday. Spaces are limited and I have an enrolment system where clients can book a time slot giving me 2 weeks notice if they would like to vacate that spot. Further information is available on how this works. From time to time I have a waiting list due to the demand.

How much will it cost?

The cost of sessions are in line with industry standards. Please contact me for this information.
